Vehicles in Germany's City Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Officers stated they were alerted by a resident who noticed a automobile in Hanau covered with reddish liquid

Approximately fifty automobiles have been smeared with what seems to be blood from a person in the Germany's municipality of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, according to police.

Automobiles, walls and mailboxes were vandalized, sometimes with swastikas, they reported in a release.

Officers say they were notified during the night on Wednesday night, when a man observed that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored liquid.

The liquid had been applied in the pattern of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Law enforcement then found numerous other smeared automobiles and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under legislation outlawing the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement say initial examinations suggest the substance was most likely human bodily fluid.

"There is still no clue as to its origin; authorities are not yet aware of any physical harm in connection with the incident," they stated.

Local authorities stated they were trying "to resolve the case" and have appealed to the public for details.

An important official stated the vandalism rendered him speechless and had to be resolved quickly.

"This event hits the very heart of Hanau and reopens the pain of the far-right attack half a decade ago," he posted on online, referring to the death of nine victims by a shooter aiming at people of foreign heritage in 2020.
